The problem we saw.
Paper tokens get lost. Cash collections don't always match the number of vehicles that came through. When a customer disputes a charge, staff have no quick way to check who's right. None of this is because parking operators are careless — it's because paper and memory don't scale past a certain number of vehicles a day.
Lost tokens
A missing paper ticket means no record of when a vehicle entered — or how much it owes.
Cash that doesn't reconcile
Manual collection makes it hard to know if today's cash matches today's vehicles.
Slow entry and exit
Manual ticketing and fee calculation at the gate builds up queues during busy hours.
No record when it matters
A parking dispute with no digital trail comes down to whoever argues harder.
How we think about the fix.
Not a hardware overhaul. Not a new machine at every gate. Two apps that scan the same QR code or number plate, at entry and at exit.
One QR, always ready
Opens straight to the QR code. Store multiple vehicles, share one with up to 4 people, and see full parking history.
For staff on the ground
Scan QR or plate (via OCR), or fall back to a manual photo. Same app shows admins the revenue dashboard and audit ledger.
Every session, logged
Entry time, exit time, payment method, and amount — recorded automatically. Flagged entries stay visible for review.
Who it's for.
Any zone that currently manages parking with a person, a token, and a notebook can use Digi Parking — roadside lots, markets, cinemas, stadiums, hotels, hospitals, offices, malls, and event venues. Some charge the parker directly; others cover the cost themselves so parking is free at the point of use.
Where we are today.
Digi Parking is currently running as a live pilot in Hazrat Ganj, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh — a dense commercial corridor with multiple contractor-run lots operating side by side. The pilot supports both cash and UPI payments, with a 12-hour offline window so staff can keep working through connectivity gaps.
What we believe.
Contractor-first, not contractor-replaced
Contractors stay in control of their zone. Digi Parking is the accountability layer on top, not a takeover.
Cash and UPI, both real
No mandate to go cashless. The payment mode is recorded, not forced.
Built for patchy connectivity
Poor network shouldn't stop operations. Sessions sync automatically once the connection returns.

If your parking zone runs on paper tickets and cash, we'd like to show you what a digital record looks like.
